POSITIONING AND DISTORTION MEASUREMENT

This Station is designed for use within fully automatic machining cells. In combination with a SCANBC system, the wheels will be automatically identified, positioned and measured (distortion measurement with laser based system).
For a wheel type change no adjustments are necessary. The system will automatically cope with all wheel types from 14 to 24 inch without any manual change.
The station includes all necessary components such as control, motors, etc. Just connect the 400VAC and the interface cable and system is ready to operate.
For the take over of the robot, the wheel remains clamped in the station. When the robot gripper has taken the wheel, the clamp will be released and the wheel will be moved away by the robot.

Precise rotation positioning and centring for the robot take over.

BARCODE - SCANNING
Fully automatic wheel type scanning and positioning with the optional Scanner SCANBC.

DISTORTION MEASUREMENT
Includes a fully laser based measurement system for distortion, no mechanical measurement equipment required.

MIXED PRODUCTION
Fully automatic wheel type change, no adjustment necessary for different wheel types.

COMPLETE PACKAGE
Fully assembled and tested system, including control and bus-interface to Robot (i.e. Profibus)

SAFETY
Optional safety device for manual handling at not fully automated production lines.
